Be up-to-date with PRACE and visit the PRACE booth (# 2973) at SC09. PRACE project members will be on hand to answer to your questions about the project and the future of PRACE. PRACE will display demos from PRACE partner sites. Visitors can take part in the PRACE SC09 treasure hunt to win an iPod Touch, and can also pick up a Heavy Computing t-shirt!

PRACE also organises a BoF session together with DEISA and EGI on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at  05:30PM - 07:00PM in Room D135-136.  The title of the BoF is “European HPC and Grid Infrastructures”

PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, continues its mission to create a persistent, sustainable pan-European HPC service. It will deploy several world-class systems at different European sites to enable world-class science. Six PRACE partners are already evaluating prototypes of promising architectures from different vendors to port, optimise and petascale key applications in preparation for production in 2010. PRACE is a project funded in part by the EU’s 7th Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n° RI-211528.
